I know so many women who are a ‘force’ to reckon with. They simply refuse to ‘give up’ or be the typical sacrificial lambs. Tell them something isn’t possible, they will simply smile and get it done. Not to prove you wrong … this isn’t an ego game … but it’s more about ‘What are you talking about? It’s so easy to make the impossible possible’.
Today, women are more empowered than ever before. They easily manage their homes along with their careers and still go after their dreams. But our moms perhaps are more empowered than we actually realize …
My mom is a home maker – not a ‘house wife’ like the old Indian terminology classifies women. She made and still makes our home lovable and beautiful, takes care of things that we don’t even know exist, an amazing cook, caring and simply down to earth. She has never worked or had a career, and that doesn’t make her any less of a woman than us working women. But I can tell you something … tell my mom something in her house cannot be fixed or there is no solution to something, she will go away and get it fixed or find you a solution that you never even thought existed. Without using Google for help!! She is a walking talking Wikipedia, and if she doesn’t know something, she will learn it in her own way and perfect it.
A lot of us are built like that. Somewhere along the years, the female DNA are evolved and changed. We just don’t dream and forget anymore. We plan and turn the dreams into realities. We don’t believe things are impossible but that everything is possible. Quite simply – ‘Where there is a will, there is a way’. 🙂
