“Courage is tiny pieces of fear all glued together.” ~Terri Guillemets
How true. Each little piece of fear pulls us back, prevents us from moving forward, prevents us from trusting ourselves (and others) fully. But if we take those little tiny pieces and glue them together, we find the courage in our hearts to do things. Courage is nothing but overcoming fears. Overcoming doubts. Overcoming the past that holds us back.
What is the worst thing that will happen if you find the courage to speak what’s in your heart? To do what you really want to do? Think about it … at least you can live every day with a smile knowing you have done it rather than living with “oh if only I had said that … if only I had done that!”. It frees you. Frees you to live, to experience, to love.
A lot of people let the past hold them back from expressing what they feel, from doing what they really want to do … but as soon as you breathe, gather all those fears and disperse them, add a little courage and go after what you want … life shifts. Truly shifts. 🙂 You move. You know where you stand. You accept what you feel. And life becomes magnificent! 🙂
