Looking back….

I leave in 5 days for the next phase of my ‘journey’ 🙂 when I look back, what an amazing 5 months I have had in 2011. I have been trained in 2 levels of Integrated Hypnotherapy, completed all 3 Inner Child workshops, did a course on understanding what twin souls are (versus soul mates), completed certification to be a First Aid Responder for children, done my 150 hours of internship at a pre-school and on the brink of giving my 4th and final exam paper to complete my Level 2 CACHE certification for pre-school teaching. And been working 2-3 times a week at my previous job to help the team out and we are on the brink of signing off an amazing deal!

You know, honestly, when things are meant to work out, the whole universe conspires to ensure it does. Everything just falls into place (touchwood) – easily and effortlessly. When I took the sabbatical 6 weeks ago, I have had the time to do what my heart desires, and at the same time, I have had the chance to work at the pre-school full-time and still work part-time at my previous job. I have had the time to catch up with old friends when they flew into town over silly and fun afternoon coffees, lunches and dinners, have had the time to spend time with my family – most importantly my mother. She hasn’t seen so much of me since high school and still wants more! Went for random walks, volunteered, pampered myself, cooked funky meals, experimented baking, painted, went to mandir regularly, sat on the beach and cafes and just read books. little things that we don’t do because we just don’t have the time anymore.

Maybe we need to find the time for these little things in life, things we desire, so that work just doesn’t take over. It keeps us in touch with the real us!

  1. You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be really something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me.I am looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
